Travertine and sandstone with a non-slip matt finish are the most popular choice for pool decks in Thailand. They stay cooler underfoot than polished stone or porcelain in direct sun, and the non-slip surface gives good grip even when wet.
Yes. Deck and coping stone is given a non-slip, textured finish, not polished, specifically for slip resistance around wet pool edges. Black Granite is also available in a dedicated non-slip finish for high-traffic areas.
